Allie Sue Patterson

Mrs. Allie Sue Patterson, age 81, of Freeman Ferry Road, Rome, GA, died Tuesday morning, May 2, 2017, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Patterson was born April 16, 1936, in Bartow County, GA, daughter of the late Herman S. Reeves and Ida Mae Lowery Reeves. Until her retirement Mrs. Patterson was associated with Walmart in their Deli Department. Mrs. Patterson was a member of Lindale Church of God of Prophecy and enjoyed going to Flea Markets.

Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her Husband, Ralph Lewis Patterson, Sr. in 2009, a daughter, Teresa Diane Terrell in 2007, and by two brothers Billy Reeves and Tunic Reeves.

Mrs. Patterson is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Patterson (Judy) Silver Creek, GA and Ricky Patterson Lindale; two daughters, Linda Sue Patterson, Rome GA and Mary Patterson Calhoun, GA; seven grandsons, two granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside and interment services will be held Thursday 2:30 PM in Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens with Rev. Doug Stephenson officiating. The family will gather Thursday at Salmon Funeral Home where they will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. At other hours they may be contacted at their respective residences.

Pallbearers will meet at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens Thursday at 2:15 PM and will be comprised of Mrs. Patterson's grandsons.
