Annie Ruth Rudd

Mrs. Annie Ruth Rudd, age 92, of Birmingham, Ala. and a former long time resident of Armuchee died Wednesday morning, October 25th, 2006 in Birmingham, Ala.
A native of Cherokee, Ala., Mrs. Rudd was born on January 24th, 1914, the daughter of the late Alfred and Della Gardner Hartline. She was a seamstress and a homemaker and was a member of the New Armuchee Baptist Church. Mrs. Rudd was preceded in death by a daughter, Patty Rudd Floyd, a son, James Clifford Rudd, Sr. and a grandson, James Clifford Rudd, Jr. Mrs. Rudd was married on November 28th, 1931 to John C. "Jake" Rudd who preceded her in death in 1964.
Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Nickey and Carole Rudd of Chelsea, Ala. and Hugh and Julie Rudd of Armuchee, GA. 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson also survive.
Funeral service for Annie Ruth Rudd will be held on Saturday morning, October 28th, 2006 at 11 o'clock from the graveside of the New Armuchee Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Edward E. Holsomback officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of New Armuchee Baptist Church Cemetery.
