Mrs. Antonietta T. Colello, age 92, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday evening, May 16, 2017, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Colello was born in Valsinni Matera, Italy, on May 29, 1924, a daughter of the late Carmine Truncellito and Rosalia Sinisalch Truncellito. She had been a resident of Rome and Floyd County for most of her life and was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Colello was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Colello, and a son, Mario Carmen Colello, a step-daughter, Martha Ellen Crocker, and a step-son, Frank Colello.

Mrs. Colello is survived by two daughters, Rosalie Colello of Rome, and Mrs. Elisa Hobbs of Jackson Hole, WY; one son, Jimmy Colello of Rome; two loving step-sons, Tony Colello, Jr. of Rome, and Nick Colello of Pensacola, FL. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Colello will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in Saint Mary's Catholic Church with Father Rafael Carbello officiating. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery.

A Rosary service for Mrs. Colello will be held on Thursday evening at 600 p.m. in Salmon Funeral Home and the family will receive friends following the Rosary until 8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers are asked to meet at Saint Mary's Catholic Church on Friday by 2:00 p.m. and include Jeff Sexton and Mrs. Colello's grandsons.
