Bobby Lee Spears, age 39, of #28 Melody Lane, Rome, died Tuesday evening, November 17th, 2009 at Gordon County Hospital in Calhoun, GA. from injuries received in an automobile accident.
A native of Cherokee County, Alabama, Mr. Spears was born on November 10th, 1970, the son of Sue Spears Allmon and the late Billy Joe Spears. He was of the Baptist Faith and was self-employed as a refrigeration technician. Bobby was a graduate of Cedar Bluff High School in Cedar Bluff, Alabama.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Hentz Spears to whom he was married on December 1st, 1995, a daughter, Samantha Spears of Rome; a son, Jimmy Spears of Rome; Mother and step-father, Sue Spears Allmon and Bobby Allmon of Rome; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Timmy and Tammy Spears and Joey and Tina Spears all of Rome; 2 step-sisters, Terri and Ron Gallinat of Plainville and Kay and Jerry Rampley of Rome; 2 step-brothers, Ricky Allmon of Rome and Tony and Cindy Allmon of Rome; Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of life service for Bobby Lee Spears will be held on Saturday evening, November 21st, 2009 at 7 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Champion officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 until 7 o'clock at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel. At other hours they will be at the home of his mother and step-father, Sue and Bobby Allmon, #28 Melody Lane, West Rome.
