Clara Mae Green

Clara Mae Cooper Green, age 93, of #2 Three Mile Road, Rome, Ga. and formerly of the Turner Road, Rome, died Wednesday evening, February 24, 2010 at Summit Healthcare of Rome.

A life-long resident of Floyd County, Mrs. Green was born February 17, 1919 the daughter of the late Willie Frank Cooper and the late Della Carter Cooper. Mrs. Green was a member of the Floyd Springs Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edwin Green to whom she was married in 1934.

Mrs. Green is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Wayne and Beth Green of Rome and Norman and Susan Green of Calhoun. 3 Grand Children and 4 Great Grand Children also survive.

A memorial service for Mrs. Clara Mae Cooper Green will be held Saturday, February 27th 2010 at 2 o'clock PM at the Floyd Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Hyde officiating. Interment will be the Floyd Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday afternoon from 1 until 2 o'clock. At other hours the family will be at the residence of a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Beth Green at #2 Nicklaus Drive, NW. Rome, GA.
