Elizabeth Irene Weaver

Irene H. Weaver, age 88, of #794 Lovers Lane, Calhoun, GA. died Friday morning, March 20th, 2009 at her residence in Calhoun.
A native of Chattooga County, Mrs. Weaver was born on November 4th, 1920, the daughter of the late Myron R. and Mary Amanda Ellis Heath. She was a member of Echota Baptist Church in Calhoun and for a number of years Mrs. Weaver was associated with Echota Cotton Mills of Calhoun. Mrs. Weaver resided in Rome Georgia from 1994 until 2006 at which time she made her home in Calhoun. Mrs. Weaver was married in 1939 to Lloyd Willard Weaver who preceded her in death on August 16th, 1995.
Survivors include 3 daughters and a son-in-law, Roxie Anne Taylor of Atlanta, Betty Lou and Tony Greene of Calhoun and Deborah Burchett of Calhoun; a son, Douglas Willard Weaver and his wife, Susan of Burlington, Kentucky; 14 grandsons and 18 great-grandchildren also survive as do a special niece, Helen Cornwell of Tampa, Florida.
A Celebration of Life service for Irene H. Weaver will be held on Monday morning, March 23rd, 2009 at 11 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Weaver will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Sunday) evening from 4 until 7 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence in Calhoun.
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
