Glenn Amber Reeves

Glenn A. "Applejack" Reeves, age 66, of #82 Blankenship Place, Rome, Georgia, died Sunday morning, August 19th, 2007 at his residence.
A native of Randolph County, Alabama, Mr. Reeves was born on March 4th, 1941, the son of the late Travis A. and Velma Mae Gaston Reeves. He had spent the greater part of his life in Floyd County and was of the Baptist Faith. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Reeves was associated with Mohawk Carpets of Rome.
Survivors include 3 sisters, Ann Gonzales of Rome, Georgia, Inez Colbert of LaGrange, Georgia and Helen White of Ormond Beach, Florida; 1 brother, Julious E. Reeves of LaGrange, Georgia. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Reeves will be held on Wednesday afternoon, August 22nd, 2007 at 2 o'clock (Alabama time) from the graveside of Union Baptist Church Cemetery of near Wedowee, Alabama with the Rev. Doug Beamon officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
