Jeffrey Hamilton Freeman

Jeffrey H. "Jeff" Freeman, age 47, of #12 Kirkwood Street, (Riverside Community) Rome, passed away on Thursday evening, March 17th, 2011 at his residence.

A native of Floyd County, Jeff was born on August 29th, 1963 the son of Hugh F. and Nancy Trammell Freeman. Jeff had spent his entire life in Floyd County and was a graduate of Model High School and Shorter College. Jeff was a member of the Enon Baptist Church and was associated with Progressive Insurance Company.

Survivors include his parents, Hugh and Nancy Freeman of the Gentry Road, Kingston, GA.; a brother, Joey Freeman of Rome; a step-son, Ben Chandler and Ben's daughter, Meredith. Other survivors include Lisa Freeman, Marc Shiflett, aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved pet, Bailey.

Funeral services for Jeffrey H. "Jeff" Freeman will be held on Monday afternoon, March 21st, 2011 at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Dempsey officiating with interment to follow in East View Cemetery.

The following will serve as active pallbearers, Tim Trammell, Steve Trammell, Adrian Tippens, Tommy Mathis, Josh Walls and Jason Edstrom.

Jeff will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 until 7 o'clock p.m.
