Jo Nell Moore

Jo Nell Moore, age 86 of Rome, GA passed away on Dec. 27, 2014 in Lynchburg, VA. Mrs. Moore was retired from Bellsouth and was an active member of the Rome Council Telephone Pioneers. Jo Nell was a lifelong member of Sherwood Forest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hardin Moore and two brothers Charles Brock and Lamar Brock.

Jo Nell is survived by her daughter, Judy (Ken) Thomas of Lynchburg, VA; son, Michael (Tammy) Moore; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Geneva Moore of Smyrna, GA. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Georgia National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sherwood Forest Baptist Church.
