Julius Harold Bill Bailey

Julius Harold "Bill" Bailey, age 82, of #1439 Turner Road, NE, Armuchee, died Sunday afternoon, December 9th, 2007 at a local hospital.
A native of Culberson, North Carolina, Mr. Bailey was born on August 5th, 1925, the son of the late Julius R. and Amanda Bell Bailey. He had been a resident of Armuchee since 1981 having moved here from Pittsburg, PA. and was a World War II veteran having served in the United States Navy. Mr. Bailey was a member of the Floyd Springs Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Director and Brotherhood Director. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Bailey was associated with Rockwell International in Hawthorn, Calif. as Director of Purchasing.
Survivors include his wife, Debra "Debbie" Eminhizer Bailey, to whom he was married on August 15th, 1979, a daughter, Megan Bailey of Armuchee; a sister, Ruth Jenkins of Canton, GA. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Julius Harold "Bill" Bailey will be held on Thursday afternoon, December 13th, 2007 at 4 o'clock at the Floyd Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Brackett and the Rev. Dan Hyde officiating. Interment will follow in the Floyd Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Bailey will lie-in-state at the church on Thursday afternoon from 3 until 4 o'clock.
The following will are requested to serve as active pallbearer, Wayne Holsomback, Ray Peugh, Bill DeHart, Dr. Pat Mcgivaren, Bill Duke and Ellis Terry.
Mr. Bailey will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Wednesday) evening from 7 until 9 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence.
