Larry Franklin Dooley

Larry Franklin Dooley, age 54, of #2694 Old Summerville Road, Armuchee, died early Friday morning, July 13th, 2007, at the home of his brother on the Floyd Springs Road..
Larry was born in Chattooga County, Georgia on October 6th, 1952, the son of late Clarence E. and Bettie Ruth Maynor Dooley. He has spent the greater part of his life in Floyd County and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church at Rosedale. Mr. Dooley served in the United States Army and for a period of time was associated with Shaw Industries of Calhoun and Sequoia Foods of Calhoun. Mr. Dooley was married on May 23rd, 1997 to Lea Junkin Dooley who survives.
Survivors include his wife, Lea Dooley, a daughter, Melissa F. Dooley Breece of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; 1 son, Timothy B. Dooley of Alamo, GA.; 19 grandchildren, 2 step-daughters, Jennifer McLaughin of Huntsville, Ala. and Linda Clark of Calhoun, GA.; 1 step-son, Steve McDonald, Jr. Ranger, GA.; 2 sisters, Janie Harrell of Rosedale, Ga. and Faye Hart of Black Mountain, N.C.; a brother, Bobby Dooley of Armuchee. Nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service for Larry Franklin Dooley will be held this (Sunday) morning, July 15th, 2007 at 11 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Phillips officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this (Sunday) morning from 10:30 until 11 o'clock at the funeral home. At other hours they will be at #698 Floyd Springs Road, Armuchee.
