Misty Elaine Sharp

Misty Elaine Sharp, age 28, 0f #4 Dixie Park Road, NE, Rome, passed away Tuesday morning, February 10th, 2009 after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Rome on June 5th, 1980, she is the daughter of Ronnie and Joy Sharp. Misty was a 1999 graduate of Armuchee High School and served as the only Indian Mascot at the school. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel Church, Old Dalton Road. Misty was an accomplished cook and an avid scrap booker. Misty was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Doyal Green, paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Kathryn Sharp, and by an uncle, Robert McClinton.
Survivors include her father and mother, Ronnie and Joy Green Sharp, a brother and sister-in-law, Adam and Stephanie Sharp of Rome; one niece Abby Sharp and a nephew, Collin Davis, maternal grandmother, Kathryn Green of Rome; uncles and aunts, Leslie and Susan Hopper, Mike Green, Doug and Lee Sharp and Lewis and Deborah Banks all of Rome. Several cousins also survive.
Funeral services for Misty will be held on Friday morning, February 13th, 2009 at 11 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Max Carver officiating with interment to follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Misty will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Thursday) evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence.
Cousins will serve as active pallbearers, Jason and Eric Hopper, Jeremy Sharp, Nathan and Daniel Banks, Clint and Kyle Green.
