Terry Wayne Rose, age 53, of #520 Mountain View Road, Rome, died early Saturday morning, May 8th, 2010 in Warner Robins, Georgia.

A native of Floyd County, Terry was born on December 25th, 1956, the son of Helen Lenora Fowler Rose and the late J.C. Rose. He had spent his entire life in Rome and Floyd County and was a Christian. Terry attended Model School and was a graduate of Coosa Valley Tech where he received a Certified Welding Degree. Terry was a certified welder having been associated with the Atlanta Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local Union #72. He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Rose on May 6th, 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Williams Rose to whom he was married on March 9th, 1985; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Christina and Randy Helton of Coosa, Terri-Lynn and Tracey Merrell of Calhoun and Meghan and Todd Swanson of Warner Robins, GA.; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Jody Hagerty and his wife, Haley of Rome; 5 grandchildren; his mother, Helen Rose of Rome; 2 sisters, Sheila Lancaster and her husband, Robert of Summerville, GA. and Janice Bennett and her husband, Gene of Adairsville, GA. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Rose will be held on Saturday afternoon, May 15th, 2010 at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Manning, Rev. Eddie McSwain and Rev. Jody Hagerty officiating. Interment will follow in Morning View Cemetery.

Terry Wayne Rose will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Friday) evening from 6 until 9 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence.

The following will serve as active pallbearers, Todd Swanson, Josh Wilson, Josh Williams, Eric Wheat, Tracey Merrell, Buddy Wilson, Ricky Williams, Chris Padgett, Jamie Stone and Phil Quarles. Honorary pallbearers will include members of the Atlanta Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local Union #72 along with longtime friends, Ronnie Clark, James Dillard, Buddy Morris and Buster Goss.
