William Thomas Hennon

William Thomas "W. T." Hennon, age 84, of 158 Hughes Dairy Road, Lindale, died Thursday morning, September 7th, 2006 at a local hospital.
A native of Floyd County, Mr. Hennon was born on January 15th, 1922, the son of the late Jeff L. and Zoe Bridges Hennon. Mr. Hennon had spent his entire life in Rome and Floyd County and was a member of the DeSoto Park Baptist Church where he was a member of the Men's Sunday School Class and the choir. For a number of years Mr. Hennon was associated with Lindale Mills and prior to his retirement was associated with Chemical Products of Cartersville, Ga. He was a member and past Master of Lindale Masonic Lodge #455 F&AM where he currently served as Chaplain. Mr. Hennon was a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. Mr. Hennon was married on March 26th, 1960, to Lorine McCarley Hennon, who preceded him in death on February 3rd, 1992.
Survivors include 2 sisters and a brother-inlaw, Frances Hennon of Rome and Mildred and Lidelle Roberson of Molena, GA. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Hennon will be held on Saturday afternoon, September 9th, 2006 at 2 o'clock from Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Floyd Memory Gardens with Lindale Masonic Lodge #455 conducting Masonic graveside rites. There will be a called communication of Lindale Masonic Lodge on Saturday at 12 o'clock noon for the purpose of attending the funeral service for Mr. Hennon.
Members of Lindale Masonic Lodge #455 F&AM will serve as active and honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Hennon will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Friday) evening from 7 until 9 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence.
Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements for William Thomas "W.T." Hennon.
