Mrs. Allison Darden Flowers, age 68, of Woodstock, Georgia and formerly of Rome, Georgia passed away on March 16, 2026 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta Georgia. Mrs. Flowers was a beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend and a cherished member of her community. Born on July 18, 1957, in Marietta, Georgia, Allison dedicated much of her life to her career and the people she served and the love she had for her family, leaving behind a legacy of wonderful memories, love, compassion and care.
Throughout her career as a phlebotomist and receptionist at Blood Assurance, Allison found great fulfillment in her work, deeply valuing the opportunity to help others. Her commitment to her profession was matched by her vibrant personality and a zest for life that touched everyone who knew her.
Allison’s love for music was broad and boundless; she embraced all kinds of melodies, which brought joy and comfort to her daily life, her faith was a cornerstone of her existence, providing strength and solace throughout her journey here on Earth.
Allison especially cherished her trips to the beach with her family, with Panama City Beach holding a special place in her heart. These moments, often shared with her family, were highlights of her year. She also delighted in spontaneous weekend excursions with friends and loved ones, embracing the spirit of adventure and connection. Her creativity was ever-present in her love for crafting, particularly drawing and painting with her sister, Jan.
Allison is survived by her loving sons, Ben Flowers and his wife, Brittney of Greensboro, Georgia, and Adam Flowers of Rome, Georgia; her brother, David and his wife, Trina of Rome, Georgia; her sisters, Beth Palmour and her husband, Jay; Jan Rhinehart; and JoAnn White and her husband, Larry, all of Rome, Georgia. She was also a devoted grandmother to Charlie Flowers, Wesley Flowers, and Brooks Flowers, who carry forward her memory and spirit.
She was preceded in death by her precious son and Adam's twin brother, Charlie Edwards; her parents, Charles Monroe Rohner and Jacqelyn Mell Rohner, husband, James Kelly Flowers, who passed away on February 12, 2023; and her brother-in-law, Ricky Rhinehart.
Allison Darden Flowers lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and a profound love for family, church family and those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle spirit, joyful heart, and creative soul will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough call her family and a friend.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Mrs. Flowers will be held on March 31, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church Pastor Mac McCurry officiating.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until the service begins at 1:00 PM.
