Andrea Gibson Wear

Andrea ‘Andi’ Gibson Wear, age 42, of Rydal, Georgia passed away Monday, June 6, 2022. Andi was born on January 21, 1980 in Rome, Georgia. She graduated from Model High School.

Andi married the love of her life, Jeremy in 2013. She and Jeremy loved each other very much and enjoyed sharing precious moments and adventures together. Andi also enjoyed attending Second Avenue United Methodist Church of Rome. She had a knack for connecting with people and she touched many lives. Andi loved all animals, especially her dogs. She also loved to travel and work in the garden. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. Andi is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Gibson and her brother, Giles Gibson.

She is survived by her loving husband of ten years, Jeremy Wear, Margaret Gibson, Cliff and Michelle Gibson, Maddie Gibson, Reese Gibson, Michael Gibson, Olivia Gibson, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

The visitation for Mrs. Andrea ‘Andi’ Gibson Wear will take place at Second Avenue United Methodist Church, 801 E 2nd Ave, Rome, GA 30161 on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The funeral service to honor the life of Andi will be at 11:00 AM following the visitation period at Second Avenue United Methodist Church with Reverend Dr. Millie Kim officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Oaknoll Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Chase Wear, Levi Thomas, Nathan Wear, Gavin Knight, Cliff Gibson and Erik Ramey.

Flowers will be accepted or the family respectfully asks that memorial donations be made to The Humane Society in loving memory of Mrs. Wear.
