Barry William Jackson

Barry William Jackson, born on August 19, 1962 in Rockmart, GA passed away on Wednesday February 1, 2023. After graduating high school he began his work in the construction field and enjoyed his career building things. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. He also enjoyed watching any sport and listening to country music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Baron and Mary Chinnell Jackson; sister, Sonia Lagene Edwards and a grandson, Lucus McNamara. He is survived by his loving girlfriend and life partner of 30 years, Kelia Parker of Rome, GA; daughters, Latisha McNamara and her husband Frank of Rome, GA, Ashley Jackson-Coleman and her husband Neal of Cedartown, GA; five grandchildren; his dog, Bear William Jackson and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life is currently being planned and will be announced here as soon as the details are finalized. According to Barry’s wishes he will be cremated.

Salmon Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
