Beatrice Reece Branton, born May 7, 1919 in Plainville, GA, passed away on Nov. 6, 2015 at the age of 96 in Rome, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents Daisy Green Reece and John Allie Reece; husband Joseph Hoyt Branton; daughter, Linda Joyce Branton; great grandson, Jacob Tyler Rush; son-in-law, Steve F. Jones; siblings, James W. Reece, Jewell Harmon, Bessie King, Mamie Amos, Pearl Hendricks, June Willerson, Trumon Reece, Frank Reece, Seaborn Reece and many dear friends.

Beatrice is survived by her son Jerry (Deborah) Branton; daughter, Sue Jones; grandchildren, Stacy (Kyle) Rush and Caleb (Candace) Branton; great grandchildren, Caitlyn Branton, Charlie Branton and Carter Rush.

Bea worked for Dellingers and Trend Mills for 30 years. She later owned and operated Northside Antique Shop for 45 years where she made many lifelong friends. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and Ladies Sunday School Class. She was a very determined, talented woman. She loved flowers, wrote poetry, refinished & repaired antiques and saw beauty in everything.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at East View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Graham, Caleb Branton, Kyle Rush, Tommy Mathis, Jimmy Taylor, John Hine.

Special appreciation to Dr. Greg Rogers and staff, Golden Living Nursing Home and Ascerna Hospice, all friend of Northside Antique Shop.
