Betty Ann Walker

Ms. Betty Ann Walker, age 89, of Rome, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Betty was born in Rome on March 12, 1933, daughter of the late Thomas Tracy Walker and Minnie Estelle Kelley Walker. After graduating from High School she worked as a seamstress. Betty was later employed with the Montessori School of Rome for several years as a Student Aide. Betty was a faithful Christian and loved to serve others. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew ‘Andy’ Clifford Walker, Thomas William Walker, and a sister, Martha Nell Johnson.

Betty is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Walker; a sister-in-law, Marie Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Betty will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Salmon Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
