Mrs. Betty Jo Davis, age 93, of Shannon passed away on January 30, 2026, in Rome, Georgia, at a local healthcare facility, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 7, 1932, in Canton, Georgia, She leaves behind a legacy filled with kindness, humor, and an unwavering dedication to her community and family.

Funeral Services to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Jo Davis will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Salmon Funeral Home. Following the funeral service, Mrs. Davis will be laid to rest at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Dr. Ken Freshour will be officiating the service. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Matt, Hunter, Joe, Jeremy, Cabe and Parker.

A visitation for Mrs. Davis will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM at Salmon Funeral Home.
