Betty Jo (Harper) Cooper

Mrs. Betty Jo Cooper, age 81, of Oakwood, GA, formerly of Dahlonega, GA, passed away on Tuesday evening, September 12, 2017.
Betty was born in Marietta, GA, on January 19, 1936, a daughter of the late Robert Floyd Harper and Clara Mae Stephens Harper. She was a housewife, homemaker and artist. Betty was married on September 2, 1956, to James Wallace "Jim" Cooper, Jr. and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1993.
Betty is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Susan C. and Gaylon J. Mills; two sons, James W. Cooper, III, and Robert Bryan Cooper; a grandson, Zachary James Cooper.
Graveside and interment services for Betty Jo Cooper will be held on Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the East View Cemetery with Chaplain Ken Oates officiating.
