Betty Mae Silvers

Ms. Betty Mae Silvers, age 85, of Rome, GA, passed away on Tuesday evening, November 21, 2017, in a local health care facility.

Ms. Silvers was born in Gordon, County, GA, a daughter of the late Johnny William Silvers and Ruby Belle Colston Silvers. She had been a resident of Rome and Floyd County the greater part of her life and was a graduate of Model High School. Ms. Silvers was a devoted Christian and a family caregiver who enjoyed shopping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bud Silvers, and two sisters, Juanita Silvers and Mildred Silvers.

Ms. Silvers is survived by a brother, Billy Silvers, and two nieces, Kathy Silvers and Carol Silvers Brooks. A multitude of great-nieces and great-nephews along with other relatives and friends also survive

In keeping with her wishes, Ms. Silvers will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held later.
