Bobby Ray Jones

Mr. Bobby Ray Jones, age 81 of Rome, passed away on Thursday July 14th, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Jones was born in Rome, Georgia on February 23rd, 1941. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-son, Jeffery Paul Day. Prior to retiring, Mr. Jones was an Electronic Engineer for The Georgia Power Company. He loved all sports and was an avid golfer. He was a member of The Callier Springs Golf Club.

Survivors include his wife, Candace Ann Jones; two sons, Jeffery Scott Jones, and Jason Christopher Jones; one step-son, David Dwayne Day; one granddaughter, Haley Morgan.

To honor his wishes, Mr. Jones was cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
