Charles "David" Warren, age, 62, a beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, in Marietta, Georgia. Born on December 17, 1963, in Rome, Georgia.

Mr. Warren was known affectionately by many as “David,” was a 1982 graduate of Pepperell High School where he proudly played drums in the Pepperell Band. He never met a stranger and was known for his outgoing personality, kind heart, and willingness to help anyone in need and often said to be the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to someone else. David enjoyed the simple things in life and found great joy in gardening, working in his yard, watching the Atlanta Braves, and spending time with animals, which he dearly loved. Throughout his life, he worked in several trades including Lindale Mill, F&P  Manufacturing, Lowes of Rome, Sara Lee Bakery, and Design Concrete. A true jack-of-all-trades, David was hardworking, dependable, and always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Most of all, David will be remembered for the way he made people feel — welcomed, valued, and loved. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

David was the cherished son of the late Charles "Charlie" R. Warren and Dorothy McAbee Warren, whose memories continue to inspire those who knew them. He was also the loving brother of Steve Warren, who preceded him in death.

David is survived by his devoted wife, Susan Ellis Warren of Rome, Georgia, stood by his side with unwavering love. His sisters, Phyllis Fricks and her husband Johnny of Goldboro, North Carolina, and Tina Brown of Rome, Georgia. He was also a proud uncle to numerous loving nieces and nephews, including Davey Shoemake Brown, Joshua Brown, John Fricks, Joe Fricks, Pamela Fricks, Tony Fricks and Alan Fricks, his great niece and nephew, Libby Brandenburg and Jake Brandenburg. Wayne Ellis of Rome, Georgia, David’s brother-in-law. He is also survived by him and his wife, Susan's furbabies, Honey and Tuxy.
