Cheryll Patricia Heiss, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on November 16, 2025, in Rome, Georgia.
Ms. Heiss was born on April 28, 1970, in Orange County, California. Cheryll lived a life that was a testament to joy and kindness. She was known for her infectious happiness and her remarkable ability to never meet a stranger. Those fortunate enough to know her would testify that she could easily brighten up a room with her warm smile. She was the life of every gathering, bringing laughter and fun wherever she went. Her personality radiated positivity, characterized by a kind and sweet soul that endeared her to everyone around her. Friends and family cherished the moments spent with her, as her humorous spirit and loving nature made every occasion memorable. An avid lover of the beach, Cheryll found joy spending time in the sand, watching as many sunrises and sunsets as she could, relaxing with a cold beverage and indulging in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed the vibrant culture surrounding tie-dye and flip-flops, embracing the true meaning of "Peace, Love, and Happiness." Above all, she held a special bond with her precious dog, Hauss, who brought her immense joy.
Cheryll leaves behind her devoted and loving parents, Beverly and Richard Avery of Rome, GA, her brothers Frankie Christopher Arnett of Acworth, GA, and Lewis Eugene Avery of Calhoun, GA, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and special friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Ms. Heiss was preceded in death by her sister, Tonya Michelle Bryant, whose memory remains a cherished part of her family’s legacy.
A Celebration of Life for Cheryll will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Salmon Funeral Home & Crematory.
Cheryll Patricia Heiss will forever be remembered for the love she shared and the joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to have experienced her laughter and friendship.
