Christopher George Webb

Christopher George Webb, age 44, of Rome, GA, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020.

Chris was born December 23, 1975, in Swainsboro, GA, where he graduated from Swainsboro High School. He went on to graduate from Armstrong Atlantic State University Criminal Justice Training Center. Chris had a love of law enforcement. He adored his family and friends, especially his two sons, of whom he was so proud. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Rufus Lee Webb, Jr., and his mother, Janice McBride Overstreet. His grandparents, Rudolph and Evelyn McBride, and Rufus Lee Webb, Sr. and Evelyn Tyson Webb, also preceded him in death.

Chris is survived by his sons, James Daniel Webb and Christopher Davis Webb; a sister and brother-in-law, Melanie and Jake Maxwell of Savannah, GA; a brother, Jason Webb of Swainsboro. Two nephews, Jake and James Maxwell, also survive.
In keeping with his wishes, Chris has been cremated and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
