Christopher Shane Hicks

Mr. Christopher Shane Hicks (Timms), age 47, of Rome, GA, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

Mr. Hicks was born on March 29, 1975 in Augusta, GA, to his late parents: Tommy Lee Timms and Vicky Dutton Timms.

 Christopher worked for the City of Rome in the Construction Department. He enjoyed fishing, Ohio State football, The Seattle Seahawks and traveling, especially to Colorado. Mr. Hicks will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Ann McNabb and nephews: Tony Lee Hicks, Jr. and Christopher Hicks.

Christopher is survived by his brother, Tony Lee Hicks; sisters: Candy (James) Davis, Beverly (Brandon) Simpson and twin sister Christy Hicks; brother-in-law, Fletcher McNabb; nephews: Justin Duvall, Blake Wyatt and Harley Hicks; nieces: Taylor Duvall, Brittany Cain, Victoria Carlise and several other family members survive.

In keeping with the families wishes, Mr. Hicks will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As soon as the service details are finalized they will be announced by Salmon Funeral Home.
