Mr. Donald James Maynard, age 55, of Marietta, GA, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020, at his residence.
Donald was born in Decatur, GA, on June 7, 1964, son of the late William P Maynard, Sr. and Thelma Lucille Nurse Maynard. He was a 1982 graduate of Darlington High School. He enjoyed kayaking, hiking fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Donald is survived by two daughters, Kelsi Maynard of Cedartown, GA, and Caroline Maynard of Calhoun, GA; two sons, Dylan Maynard and Logan Maynard, both of Marietta; two grandchildren, Kynzli Parris and Grayson Blalock; two sisters, Barbara McGrath of McDonough, GA, and Vicky Couach of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Robert Maynard of Hartwell, GA, and William Maynard, Jr., of Jackson, GA.
In keeping with his wishes, Donald has been cremated. Donald's family will receive friends Saturday morning, March 7, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m at Salmon Funeral Home.
