Donald Jeremy "DJ" Voyles

Donald Jeremy "DJ" Voyles, a cherished member of the community, passed away at his home in Adairsville on May 24, 2025, at the age of 38. Born on November 17, 1986, in Rome, Georgia.  DJ was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him.

A proud graduate of Pepperell High School, DJ was known for his infectious smile. He had a passion for movies of all genres, often spending evenings immersed in the latest blockbusters or classic cinema. His enthusiasm for movies was matched only by his love and loyalty to the University of Georgia, where he was an big supporter of the  Georgia Bulldogs.  DJ’s personality radiated warmth. He will be remembered not only for his interests and hobbies but also for the memories he created with friends and family throughout his life. As he embarks on his next journey, those who had the privilege to know DJ will carry with them the joy and laughter he brought into their lives. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved him

Mr. Voyles was preceded in death by his father, Donny Voyles; grandfathers: Richard Fowler, Bobby McEntire and Donice Dale Voyles.

Dj is survived by his loving mother, Rhonda Voyles, sister, Amanda (Chris) Tolbert, niece, Bayley Tolbert, nephew, Landen Tolbert, grandmothers: Brenda Fowler and Ann McEntire. Several aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly and a special family friend, Joyce Hightower. 

Funeral services to honor DJ will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Salmon Funeral Home with Rev. Cary Hall and Rev. David Thorton officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Salmon Funeral Home on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
