Dorothy Virginia Little

Mrs. Dorothy Virginia Little age 82 of Rome Ga., passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at a Rome hospital.

Mrs. Little was born on August 22, 1931 in Cedartown, Ga. the daughter of the late Farris Van Horn and the late Elizabeth Ester Moore Horn. She spent most of her life in Rome. For many years along with her late husband, Murdock Little, owned and operated Air Tech a heating and air conditioning business. Mrs. Little was a volunteer for the Sara Hightower Regional Library in Rome, Ga. for many years. Mrs. Little is also survived by a brother, Billy Van Horn. Mrs. Little was married to Murdock Little who preceded her in death.

Survivors include 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Wayne Cochran and Brenda and Fred Shirley; a son, Wayne Christian; Grandchildren, Bradley Cochran, Casie Langley, Ronnie Stamey, Scott Stamey, and Brandy Stamey, Michelle Thaxton, Sabrina Riddle and Wayne Christian, Jr. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Dorothy Virginia Little will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sara Hightower Regional Library.
