Guyton Durand Selman

Guyton Durand "Pete" Selman, age 65, of Rome, passed away on Dec. 17, 2015 after a brief illness.

Pete was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War Period. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Selman was preceded in death by his father Guyton D. Selman and a brother Rudy C. Selman.

He is survived by his mother Connis Selman; two brothers, Greg (Elaine) Selman and Byron Selman; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Cancer Navigators of Rome or to your favorite charity.
