Harwell Frank Reeves

Harwell Frank "Junior" Reeves, Jr., age 44, of Wet Oak Drive, NW, Rome, Georgia, passed away on Monday afternoon, November 7th, 2011 at a Rome hospital.

A native of Floyd County, Junior was born on June 17th, 1967, the son of Harwell Frank Reeves, Sr. and the late Nancy Jo Mitchell Reeves. He was a lifelong resident of Floyd County and was a 1985 graduate of Coosa High School. He was an electrical contractor and a partner in Reeves Electric of Rome. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1999.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Lynn Davis Reeves to whom he was married in November 1999; 1 daughter, Madison Reeves, 1 son, Jordan Reeves, his father and stepmother, Harwell and Marie Reeves all of Rome; a sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Al Acrey of Centre, Ala.; a niece, Ashley Acrey; 3 step-brothers, Chris Dempsey of Felton, Ga., and Eric and Jonathan Dempsey both of Shannon.

Funeral services for Harwell Frank "Junior" Reeves, Jr. will be held on Thursday afternoon, November 10th, 2011 at 1 o'clock from the graveside of Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jason Willis officiating. Interment to follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The following will serve as active pallbearers and are requested to meet at the graveside at Oaknoll on Thursday afternoon at 12:25 p.m., Jason Clark, Barry Brumbelow, Patrick McDougald, Chris, Eric and John Dempsey.

The family will receive friends at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel this (Wednesday) evening from 6 until 9 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the home of the father and step-mother, Harwell and Marie Reeves at #22 Blackhawk Circle in West Rome.
