Jackie Wayne Lambert

Mr. Jackie Wayne Lambert, age 75, of Rome, GA, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 11, 2021.

A native of Rome and Floyd County, Jackie was born January 16, 1946, son of the late Fin Wade Lambert, Sr., and Ethel Mae Carroll Lambert. He attended Pepperrell High School and was of the Baptist faith. Jackie began roofing with his Dad early in life and eventually be owner/operator of F.W. Lambert and Son Roofing. He loved country music, fishing, and spending time with his dogs. In addition to his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Gayle Jennings Lambert. A son, Dennis Wayne Lambert, a brother, Fin Wade Lambert, Jr., and a sister, Vera Eloise Childs, also preceded him in death.

Jackie is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Stephen Long of Cedartown, GA; two grandsons, Joshua and Adam Clonts; one great-grandson, Benjamin Clonts; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Martha Lambert of Rockmart, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Jackie will be cremated, and no formal service is planned at this time.
