Jalinda Shirlese Wildridge

Ms. Jalinda Shirlese Wildridge, age 61, of Rome, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Redmond Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Jalinda was born on June 1, 1961 in Robstown, TX to her parents: Wayman Art Dunkin and Gerry Ann Rogers Blankenship. Ms. Wildridge worked for Southern Home Care as a certified nurse assistant. She enjoyed video games, Rock n’ Roll, photography, the color purple, writing, sewing and being a motherly figure to not only her children but anyone she met over the years. If you asked her family to describe her, they would say she never met a stranger and was self-sacrificing. Mrs. Wildridge was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving son, Joseph Wildridge of Rome, GA; daughter, Christa Wade and her husband, Patrick of Tate, GA; father, Wayman Art Dunkin of Pleasant, TX; brother, Darin Dunkin and his wife, Dessie of Kingsville, TX; sister, Kraylon Dunkin of Rome, GA, and nephew, Christopher Dunkin.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, Ms. Wildridge will be cremated and no formal services are being planned at this time.
