James Calvin Tolbert

Mr. James Calvin Tolbert, age 58, of Rome, GA, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Mr. Tolbert was born on December 10, 1964 in Rome, GA and was raised in Floyd County. He was the son of Jerrell and Margie Sprayberry Tolbert. In his free time Mr. Tolbert enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Calvin was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerrell Tolbert.

Mr. Tolbert is survived by his sons, Chris Tolbert and his wife Amanda of Rome, GA; son, Noah Tolbert of Rome, GA; mother, Margie Sprayberry Tolbert of Rome, GA; sister, Geraldine Tolbert and her husband Jim; brother, Jeff Tolbert and his wife Christina of Rome, GA; grandchildren: Landen and Bayley Tolbert. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Tolbert will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Salmon Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Dale Byars officiating. 

The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 12:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM.
