Jane Ledbetter

Jane "Polly" Canada Ledbetter, age 84 of Rome passed away on Dec. 1, 2014. Mrs. Ledbetter was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Jessie Mae Chestnut and Robert Canada; brother, Wallace Canada; sister, Lucille Oakes; brother-in-law Buddy Oakes; brother and sister in law Harold and Doris McCain. Polly was a definite sports mom watching her kids play little league; she loved the Braves and was an avid Bingo Player. She loved the Lord and her children.

She is survived by her husband Jack Ledbetter; four sons, Steve (Mindy) Ledbetter, Larry Ledbetter, Alan (Latrelle) Ledbetter, Jeff (Susan) Ledbetter; nine grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Ledbetter, Jenny (Michael) Peppers, Chuck (brie) Ledbetter, Stevie (Brooke) Ledbetter, Lawson Ledbetter, Jason (Cheree) Ledbetter, Brittany Ledbetter, Mary Allison Ledbetter, Jon Ledbetter; 11 great grandchildren; sister, June (Jerry) Cavin; several nieces and nephews. Peggy Aycox, June Cavin and Jane all had a very special bond.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with burial at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jon Ledbetter, Jason Ledbetter, Michael Canada, Stevie Ledbetter, Dennis Berg, Mark Edwards.
