Jessie Gene Mccreery

Jessie Gene McCreery, age 2 years, of Rome and Plainville, Georgia, passed away Friday afternoon, June 3rd, 2011 at Scottish Rite Hospital in Decatur, Georgia.

Little Jessie was born on December 22nd, 2008 in Floyd County, the son of David B. McCreery, Jr. and Amanda Le-Ann Edgins.

Survivors include his father and mother, 1 sister, Katy-Jo McCreery; 2 brothers, Russell Helwig and Watt Price; grandparents, David McCreery, Sr., Joanne McCreery, Timothy Lindsey and Chrissy Lindsey all of Rome; a great-grandmother, Patricia McCreery of New York.

Funeral services for little Jessie Gene McCreery will be held on Friday afternoon, June 10th, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel with the Rev. Danny Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Little Jessie will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Thursday) evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. At other hours the family will be at their respective homes.
