Mrs. Juana Dianne Walker was born on April 5th, 1958 in Rome GA. She was the wife of Leslie Hoyt Walker and the daughter of Martha Ann Reynolds Giles and the late Frank Kerce. Mrs. Walker was a stay-at-home mother and cleaned houses for many years until she retired from working. She was an avid gardener and had an abounding love for taking care of her grandchildren. Mrs. Walker was a true friend to everyone she met, and she never met a stranger. She was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in White Georgia and loved the Lord!
Survivors include her husband, Leslie H. Walker of Rome; son, Jason Walker of Rome; daughter, Rebekah Bata of Rome; five grandsons, Jett Walker, Jackson Walker, Bo Walker, Harrison Walker, and Van Bata, all of Rome; two granddaughters, Berlin Bata and Aneka Bata, both of Rome; mother, Martha Ann Reynolds; three sisters, Kay Lanham, Jackie Mills, and Brenda Chapman; one brother, Tony Hart; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services for Juana will be Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Salmon Funeral Home with Leslie Walker, Joel A. Smith and Michael Matthews officiating the service.
Juana’s family will receive friends at Salmon Funeral Home Saturday from 4:00 PM until the service hour.
