Laura Lynn Campbell

Mrs. Laura Lynn Campbell, born on February 27, 1965, in Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, in Rome, Georgia.

Laura cherished her time spent in nature. She loved to garden and often found joy in the simple pleasures of the outdoors. Her love for the earth and its beauty reflected her vibrant spirit and brought happiness not only to her but also to those around her. Besides spending time outdoors Laura had a love for animals and dogs but especially her 3 dogs, Zoey, Eli and Lucky.

She was preceded in death by her son, Corey Evans in 2016 and by her father, Charles Evans.

Laura is survived by her loving husband, Roy Campbell of Rome, GA; daughter, Seria (Matthew) Mullinax, mother, Barbara Hicks Wages, brothers: Chuck (Angela) Evans, Greg (Karen) Bozeman, Sam (Heather) Bozeman and Ben (Ann) Norris; and sister, Nadia (Ashley) Silvers.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Mrs. Campbell will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Salmon Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Floyd Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the service begins at 1:00 PM.

As family and friends gather to honor Laura's memory, they will remember her not just for her many accomplishments but for the joy she brought into their lives through her kindness and unwavering love. Laura Lynn Campbell will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
