Leslie 'Les' David Coley

Mr. Leslie 'Les' David Coley, age 51, of Rome, GA, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024 at his residence. Leslie was born in Rome on September 23, 1972. 

Leslie worked in construction and enjoyed building things. His sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew him. He was able to bring laughter to any situation. In addition to his career and vibrant personality, Leslie found solace in fishing and unwavering support for the Georgia Bulldogs. His laughter and love for life were infectious, leaving a lasting impact on all those around him. A man of faith, one of Leslie's proudest accomplishments was his dedication to Christianity and his deep love for the Lord. 

Leslie is survived by his loving family: his daughter, Katie Earwood from Cedartown, GA; father, Tony Coley of Rome, GA; sister, April Walker and her husband Sean from Rome, GA; brother, Christopher Coley from Rome, GA; grandchildren: Emberly, Maebry, Wylie, Rowdy, and Judd; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Leslie was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Gayle Ware. He is also survived by his best friend, Otis, his loyal dog. Leslie often remarked, "He's a good boy."

Memorial services for Leslie will be held on Friday afternoon, August 2, 2024, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Salmon Funeral Home. Leslie’s family will receive friends at Salmon Funeral Home Friday from 3:00 PM until the service hour.
