Lois Ann Minter O'Neal

Lois Ann Minter O’Neal, age 74, of Rome passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday January 6, 2023.

Mrs. O’Neal was born on April 20, 1948 in Rome, Georgia to the late Herman Minter and Bessie Lane Minter. Lois was employed by Advance Glove, as well in the cafeteria at Pepperell Middle School Nutrition Department. She was preceded in death by her daughter Stacey O’Neal Rodriguez, son Anthony “Tony” Wayne O’Neal, siblings Bonnie Nichols, Jean Nichols, Buddy Minter and David Minter.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years Milledge Joseph “MJ” O’Neal; daughter, Melissa “Missy” (Deric) O’Neal Williams, son Jody (Heather) O’Neal; daughter-in-law, Julie O’Neal; son-in-law, Francisco Rodriguez; grandchildren, Colby O’Neal, Zach O’Neal, Christopher Williams, Zander Williams, Cameron (Caitlin) O’Neal, Abigail O’Neal, Jakob Rodriguez, Cruz Rodriguez, Mason O’Neal, and Callen O’Neal; great grandson Axson O’Neal; brother Doyal (Shirley) Minter; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. O'Neal will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Salmon Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Brooks and Brenda Stansell officiating. Interment will follow the service in Rome Memorial Park. Lois’s Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM until service hour on Tuesday at Salmon Funeral Home, 2516 New Calhoun Highway NE. Rome GA. 30161.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
