Louise Henry Ingram, passed away on September 19, 2023, at her home in Rome, GA. She was born on August 31, 1929, in Chatsworth, GA, to parents, William Franklin Henry and Nora Elizabeth Terry.
Louise had a fulfilling career and dedicated many years as the office manager with Motor Contract Company before retiring. She was a diligent and dedicated employee who made significant contributions to the company throughout her tenure. Outside of work, Louise was a kind-hearted individual who prioritized her family above all else. She cherished spending time with her loved ones and was known for being a devoted wife to her late husband, Buford Edward Ingram. Their bond served as an inspiration to many. Those who knew Louise remember her as a warm and welcoming person who always made others feel at ease in her presence.
When she wasn't working or surrounded by family and friends, Louise enjoyed indulging in one of her favorite hobbies—fishing. She found solace in the process of casting lines and patiently waiting for trout to bite in the mountain rivers. It was during these moments that she felt closest to nature and experienced tranquility.
Louise is survived by a large extended family that live all across the country. Although she may no longer be with us physically, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation will be held on September 22, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Salmon Funeral Home. During the visitation, a prayer service will take place from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Salmon Funeral Home. A private burial will follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
