Marianne Brock McCain, "Macie" age 69, of Cave Spring, Georgia passed away Thursday morning, July 19th, 2012 at her residence.

A native of Floyd County, Macie was born on October 15th, 1942, the daughter of the late Joe Brock and the late Geneva Pruitt Brock Casey. Macie had spent the greater part of her life in Floyd County and was a graduate of East Rome High School. Macie was a member of the Shorter Avenue Baptist Church. At the time of her death and for many years Macie was associated with Casey's Groceries. Macie was retired from the Floyd County's Tax Assessor's office and held a degree in accounting. She was a member of the Coosa River Basin Club and enjoyed kayaking and spending time with her family and friends. Macie was preceded in death by the father of her daughters, Troy Wallace McCain on November 16th, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Robert Casey and by a brother Bob Casey.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Tracy McCain Bowman of Cave Spring and Jan McCain of Rome; 4 grandchildren, Casey and Christina Bowman and Joseph McCain Carri and Maria Carri; 2 brothers, Tucker Casey and Shawn Casey both of Cedartown. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Marianne Brock McCain, "Macie" will be held on Sunday afternoon, July 22nd, 2012 at 4 o'clock from the graveside of Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The following will serve as active pallbearers, Greg and Steven Whatley, Jeff Davis, Jeff Crider, Johnny McDonald, Stephen Woodard and Vern Bartel. Pallbearers are requested to meet at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel by 2:45 pm on Sunday.

Macie will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, July 22nd, 2012 from 1:30 until 3:30pm. At other hours they will be at the residence in Cave Spring.
