Mary Jo Caldwell

Mrs. Mary Jo Caldwell, age 75, of Everett Springs Community, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday morning, December 31, 2020.

Mary Jo was born in Rome, GA, on March 13, 1945, daughter of the late James William Edwards, Sr., and Edna Irene Chastain Edwards. She was a housewife and homemaker and a member of West Union Baptist Church. Mary Jo loved raising small farm animals, tending to her flowers, and listening to country music. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Caldwell, and a sister, Katherine Edwards.

Mary Jo is survived by two daughters, Jenifer Caldwell and Melanie Caldwell; four grandchildren, Miles Logan Howard, Rebekah Jo Caldwell, Telsa Marie Arment, and Michelle Alexandria Caldwell; three brothers, Buck Edwards, Bill Edwards, and Larry Edwards. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at Salmon Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Everett Springs.

The family will receive friends at Salmon Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.
