Mrs. Mary Joyce Robbins,  known to many as Joyce, passed away on October 1, 2026, in Kingston, Georgia at the age of 84. She was born on April 4, 1942, in Rome, Georgia, and carried with her throughout her life the roots of the community where her story began. Joyce will be remembered with affection and respect by those who knew her. Her life spanned generations of change, yet her name and memory remain closely tied to the places she called home in Floyd County. Joyce worked for many years at Lindale Mill and then started her lifelong fulfilling career as a homemaker and raising her family. 

Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frankie Robbins  who passed away on May 4, 2026. She was also preceded in death by several loving family members. 

A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Robbins will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 5, 2026, at Floyd Memorial Gardens.
