Megan Ducro Ritch, age 65, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on July 1, 2026, in Rome, Georgia.

Born on May 27, 1961 in Ashtabula, Ohio, Megan’s vibrant presence was felt deeply by all who had the fortune to know her. Her ability to touch those around her extended beyond family, encompassing friends and members of her community. Megan’s legacy is one defined by a steadfast commitment to her loved ones. She instilled strong values of compassion and resilience in her children and grandchildren, always encouraging them to pursue their aspirations with integrity and heart. Megan was the gathering place, wherever she went her loved ones followed-each time was marked by her warmth and generosity.   She was a lifelong collector who found joy in the act of gathering thrift, bin and antique discoveries, and travel to the beach. She loved to share her artistic talents through crafts and brightened every room with her creativity.

Megan is survived by her beloved spouse, Peter Decino, Jr., who stood steadfastly by her side throughout the years. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Albert Ritch (Kourtnie) and Peter Decino, III (Carleigh); and to her daughters, Casey Ritch (William Clark), Taylor Ritch (Chris Winters), Ryanne Ritch-Decino (Zaine Smith) and Kendall Decino. She found great joy in watching her family grow, and her love for her grandchildren was evident in the special bonds she formed with Makenzie, Olivia, Mason, TaiLynn, Aleyna, Colson, Ellie, Tinslee, Amara, Kacen, Kyler, Callan as well as her fur-grandkids Lynx, Roxy, Hugo, Charlie, Maple, Lucy, and Truett.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Alfred Ducro and her mother, Nancy Campbell McCaulskey.  Megan is also preceded in death by her loyal companion, Chico the dog, who brought her much comfort and joy over the years.
