Micheal 'Mike' Eugene Maddox

Micheal ‘Mike’ Eugene Maddox, age 65, of Kingston, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Mike was born on March 23, 1957 in Rome, Georgia. He loved all animals, especially his dogs and was an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish and hunt any game. Mike also enjoyed farming.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, William Eugene and Thelma O. Morgan Maddox and a brother, John R. Maddox.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Amanda and her husband Bubba Womack of Douglas, GA; brothers, Eddie (Yvonne) Maddox of Kingston, GA, David Maddox of Fairmount, GA, Jerry (April) Maddox of Kingston, GA; sisters, Missy (Danny) Maddox of Adairsville, GA, sister-in-law, Kathy Bradshaw; grandchildren, Parker and Maddox Womack; nieces, Kristen (Chad) Womack, Brooke (Matt) Mullins and Brittany VonBehren; he is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at Salmon Funeral Home on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The funeral service to honor the life of Mike will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Branton officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
