Mildred Lee Brown, age 87 of Silver Creek, GA passed away on January 17, 2026. She was born on February 21, 1938, in Wharton, West Virginia. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, welcoming demeanor, and great sense of humor.

Throughout her life, Mildred's primary passion was her family. She enjoyed nurturing her loved ones, working diligently to create a warm and loving home. She was an exceptional cook who delighted in preparing delicious meals for her family. Everyone agreed that her homemade biscuits were the best. 

Survivors include her son, David Brown, Jr. and daughter, Donna K. Brown; her cherished grandchildren, Kristie Brown and David Brown III; great-grandchildren, Danielle Grace Brown and Cayden Brown; her siblings, which include her brothers, Norman E. Kirk, Charles E. Kirk, and Emory Lester Kirk, all of California, as well as her sister, Zelda Marie Popiel, also of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Franklin Brown, Sr who she loved dearly and was married to for 65 years; parents, Freeman Edward Kirk and Grace A. Wilcoxen Kirk, and by her son, Curtis Brown.

A Graveside Service to celebrate and honor Mrs. Brown's life will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends for a visitation before the graveside service at Salmon Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM.

Mildred's legacy of love and warmth will continue to resonate with all who had the privilege of knowing her.
