Mildred C Jordan

Mildred C. Jordan, 91years old, died at her home on December 6, 2015, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Jordan was born in Cave Springs, Georgia, on July 15, 1924. She was a resident of the Rome and Shannon area for almost seventy years. She is preceded in death by her husband James E. "Red" Jordan, and her son, Alan Jordan.

Her surviving children are Kelly Jordan and his wife Vickie M. Jordan of Cartersville, Georgia; and James Jordan and Miriam Parrish, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Rev. Doug Crumbly officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to Rome Floyd Humane Society, 518 Broad St., Rome, GA 30161.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Mitchell and Anne Martin, Thor Martin, Imogene Brewster and the staff at Pruitt Health Hospice.
