Rebecca “Becky” Dillard Gregory was born on April 6, 1954, in Dalton, Georgia, to Ben and Morrean Dillard. She grew up in Rome, Georgia, where she attended and graduated from Model High School.

Becky was happily married to Lyn Gregory for 37 wonderful years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother “Gigi”, sister, and friend who loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren meant the world to her, and she treasured every moment she shared with them.

Becky lived a full and adventurous life, traveling the world from Israel to the Bahamas. She loved the beach and especially enjoyed driving through the mountains to see the leaves change colors. She found great joy in cooking delicious food and serving others. She was a wonderful entertainer and hostess, always making her home a place where people felt welcome and loved.

She had an incredible gift for taking care of others, always putting their needs before her own. She loved the holidays and had a special talent for decorating. Her home was always immaculate and filled with her personal touch.

Becky was also remarkably crafty. She could repair almost anything in her home and could build nearly anything she was asked to create. There was very little she couldn’t figure out how to do.

Above all, Becky will be remembered for the way she made people feel—as though they were the center of the universe. She made people feel special, seen, and deeply loved. Her love was unconditional and without judgment. Her infectious laugh could light up a room, and she was often the life of the party. She was, quite simply, one of the nicest people anyone could ever know.

She is survived by her husband, Lynwood Gregory; her mother, Morrean Dillard; her sister, Janie Evans; her brother, Benji Dillard; sister-in-law, Benita Dillard; and brother-in-law, Dennis Evans.

Becky is also survived by her children, Rebecca Erin Waddell Kreider, Bryan Waddell, Kris Gregory, and Kevin Gregory; son-in-law, Matt Kreider; daughters-in-law, Allison Gregory and Laura Gregory; and her beloved grandchildren, Jacob and Logan Kreider, Brielle, Ayla and Sarah Gregory, and Madeleine Brooks.

Becky’s faith in God was a cherished part of her life. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and trusted in His promises. She has now met her Savior face to face and entered into the eternal peace and joy of Heaven. Her father, Ben Dillard, and other beloved family members who went before her are celebrating her arrival and rejoicing with her in Heaven. She is now resting in the presence of the Lord she loved.

Becky leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, generosity, faith, and a life devoted to making others feel cared for. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by the family and friends who were blessed to know her.
